Limited access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene can expose communities to preventable health risks while affecting dignity, education and livelihoods. Many communities need solutions that are not only installed but also understood, managed and sustained locally.
Our Solution
DROPS combines safe-water solutions, sanitation and hygiene education, community ownership, appropriate technology and local partnerships. The initiative explores sustainable approaches, including solar-powered water systems and other appropriate technologies, while involving communities in identifying needs, designing solutions and managing local systems.
Our Vision
We envision communities where every family can access safe water, adequate sanitation and the knowledge needed to maintain a healthy and dignified environment.
Long-Term Impact
DROPS aims to create healthier and more dignified communities where families have access to safer water and sanitation and communities have the capacity to sustain local WASH solutions.
