Equip 300 Young Mothers with Business skills.

Young mothers in Kenya's underserved areas, including Kibera, Kisumu, and Busia, face high rates of poverty, unemployment, and social exclusion due to early pregnancies & limited education. Lacking access to skills training and income opportunities, many struggle to support their children & break the cycle of dependency. Despite their potential, they are often excluded from mainstream empowerment programs. Targeted support is urgently needed to equip them with tools for a sustainable livelihood.

This project will provide 300 young mothers in Kibera, Kisumu, and Busia with targeted business and financial literacy training, equipping them with skills to start and manage small enterprises. Through mentorship, peer learning, and access to startup capital, the project will enable them to generate income, reduce dependency, and support their families. By focusing on practical, community-based solutions, the initiative promotes long-term self-reliance and inclusive economic growth.

The long-term impact of this project will empower 300 young mothers to achieve financial independence, break the cycle of poverty, and improve their families' well-being. By providing business skills, mentorship, and access to capital, the project will foster local economic growth and create sustainable livelihoods. Over time, this will lead to improved education for their children, reduced dependency, and enhanced gender equality, contributing to a more resilient and self-sufficient community.
